If it is ghostly tales from days gone by, brisk walks in the fresh air or picturesque villages that you are searching for you will not be disappointed if you visit Dartmoor. Take a picnic and your hiking boots and get amongst some of the most breath taking scenery Devon has to offer.

Dartmoor National Park

If you prefer the hustle and bustle of a city why not visit the beautiful Cathedral city of Exeter. It takes just 20 minutes north east on the A38. Or if you fancy going to the naval city of Plymouth it is a 40 minute journey away from House of Marbles in the opposite direction on the A38.
