At House of Marbles near Bovey Tracey there are lots of fascinating things to do. Here is just a taster of the House of Marbles Experience.

GLASS BLOWING - with a bird's eye view from our viewing gallery you can watch our highly skilled craftsmen at work. Ask about hand and feet castings and glass making courses.

GLASS MUSEUM - Explore the 4000 year history of glass - how Glass is made and what craftsmen have made over the centuries.

MARBLE MUSEUM - with an historic collection of marbles and an in-depth explanation of how they are made.

GAMES MUSEUM - a collection of board games and marble games and bagatelles from the early 1600's.

MARBLE RUNS - we have six! Our marble run collection boasts the largest marble run in the United Kingdom and possibly the world! Come and watch 'Snooki' at work.

SHOPPING - Our whole range is on display plus products we have sourced from around the World. Toys, games, puzzles and pastimes, furniture and accessories for the home, ladies clothes and luxuries, gifts for men, our glass gallery and more. Our factory clearance shop sells our seconds, practice pieces and any production over runs. Open 10am - 4pm each day.

TEIGN VALLEY GLASS SHOP - This is now in the glass workshop itself. You can watch what is being made and buy from the current range plus seconds and practice pieces at greatly reduced prices.

THE OLD POTTERY CAFÉ AND RESTAURANT - serving everything from a full English breakfast and a huge range of cakes, coffees and teas to snacks and superb three course lunches.

GAMES GARDEN - Enjoy the fresh air and your lunch and drinks outside in the courtyard garden where the giant floating marble is the centrepiece. Skittles, chess, giant jericho and of course marbles are there to be played.
