About Teign Valley Glass Victorian Marbles
Teign Valley Glass was set up in Teignmouth, Devon, England in 1981 to make specialist hand-made marbles for House of Marbles.Since its inception in 1981 Teign Valley Glass Studios has been producing stylist yet functional and highly collectable glassware using an eclectic mix of traditional and modern techniques to produce highly individual work which brings our ideas to the forefront of UK glass design.
All marbles are handmade in a time honoured traditional fashion and are all beautiful pieces to hold and to own. Each marble is made using Victorian colour techniques that have been developed to create a modern range of collector's marbles displaying technical abilities and a pride in preserving traditional glassmaking skills. These marbles all measure approximately 1 1/2" (40mm) in diameter.
