Faunus | Teign Valley Glass Limited Edition Marble

Faunus is an overlay two colour spiral marble. The name of this marble has been inspired by the beautiful colours within the handmade ribbon cane. When asked to name the marble it made us think of the transition of colours made by an autumn leaf, which lead to Faunus. In Roman mythology Fauna was the sister of Faunus, a good spirit of the forest and plains. Faunus is the fourth marble in the series of new marbles from Teign Valley Glass this year, released in November (2011). Only 250 of these marbles will be made and each engraved with a unique number, size approximately 40mm (1 1/2"). Each piece is handmade therefore colours and designs may slightly vary.
