Today he has a successful glass jewellery business in Scottsdale, Arizona, continues marble making whenever possible with his unique murrine worked signature on each design. Pure gold and silver are often worked into designs to produce vivid reflective hues. One of the first marbles made by O’Grady can be found in the Corning Glass Museum Collection in America. He has taught in many settings over the years, including at the International Society of Glass Beadmakers and the Glass Art Society and has been recognized with awards such as the Excellence in Industry Award and the prestigious NICHE Award for Sculptural Jewellery, among others.
