I can’t find an item I’m looking for. Can you help?

If you’re having trouble locating an item then we would recommend searching for the item in the search bar which can be found at the top of our website. If you still can’t find the item then it is possible that it is out of stock or no longer being produced. We are always happy to help answer any questions and would recommend contacting us if you are unsure on either or on 01626 835 285 (please note that we observe normal office hours).

I’m looking for Teign Valley Glass products. Do you have any?

Yes we do! Please take a look here for our current range. If you are looking for a specific product we have Marbles, Banister Balls, Glass Robins and Single Stem Vases.

I’m a trade customer looking to place an order. How do I do this?

If you are a business or shop owner and would like to register on our trade site then please click here. If this isn’t you and you are just looking to place a larger order then we can help your right here on the retail site! Email us on or call us on 01626 835 285, option 2 (our offices are manned during normal office-opening hours).

I want to order a large quantities… Will you give me a discount?

This is a question always worth asking. If you would like to order large quantities of anything in our online shop then please email us on or call us on 01626 835285 to ask (please note that we do observe normal office hours). Good news! You can use code faq5 to receive 5% off your next order with us – well done for finding this code & ssshhhhh – it’s only for people who take a look at our FAQs! This code is only available for use until 31st December 2017 and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. This offer can only be used once per customer. 

Where are your products designed and made?

All of our products are designed in Devon, England and all of our Teign Valley Glass products are made in the UK. Most other products are made in China and all of them are safety checked to EU standards. Duke of York Solitaire Boards (both the marbles and the wooden base) are made in England.
Collectable Marbles are from various countries around the world, depending on where the maker is based and often the product details will tell you where these are made.
If you have any questions in regards to the country in which a product in our online shop is made, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help in whatever way we can.

What are your shop opening and delivery times?

Our online shop is open 24/7, however if you need to get hold of us in relation to a query, we are available 8.30 am – 5 pm Monday on working weekdays.
We will post your order out to you on the same day of receiving it if it is received by 2 pm on a normal weekday. Any orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working weekday. Any orders placed after 2.00 pm on a Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday, or Tuesday in the case of Bank Holidays. We do not post out over the weekend.

Your products are so beautiful, I can’t help myself …What can I do?

I know… lots of our staff keep spending their wages on our own products too. We say, buy a product a month and tell your friends and family about us too then you can share with them how beautiful they are. With each purchase in our online shop you will also receive a 10% discount code off your next order – always worth bearing in mind!

I want to place an order but I’m having difficulty. Please help!

If you have been unable to place your order then check at the top of the checkout page to see if any details have been provided in regards to why your order hasn’t gone through. This will often appear in white text on a brown banner. If you are placing your order on a tablet or smartphone device rather than a laptop or desktop computer then we would always recommend turning your device on it’s side, as this will offer you a view which is more similar to our standard site.  If you do want some assistance in placing your order please call us on 01626 835 285 or e-mail us on and we will help you in any way that we can. Please note that we observe normal office opening hours.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay in our online shop using Paypal or a Credit or Debit Card. If you wish to make your order over the phone then we can only accept card payments. Unfortunately we do not accept cheque payments any more.

How long is a piece of string?

The following question was asked at the University of Copenhagen in a physics exam: “Describe how to determine the height of a skyscraper with a barometer.”

One student answered the question with the following: “You tie a long piece of string to the neck of the barometer, then lower the barometer from the roof of the skyscraper to the ground. The length of the string plus the length of the barometer will equal the height of the building.” This highly original answer so incensed the examiner that the student was failed immediately. The student was Nils Bohr, the first Dane to win the Nobel prize for Physics.

I am having problems with your website. What do I do?

We are constantly working to improve our customer experience but realise that from time to time there may be problems and apologise for any issues you may have experienced. If you are able to spare a moment to let us know about this we would really appreciate your feedback so that we may rectify the issue for future. If you would like to do this you can let us know here and we can help to process your order for you (please note that we observe normal office hours).
If your issue is in relation to selecting a non-UK delivery address then all you need to do is proceed to the checkout from your shopping basket and you will be able to change the country for delivery then. Your shipping charges will automatically update once you have changed the country.
Sometimes issues may arise with using our website when cookies have not been enabled or javascripts or are using an older version of common browsers. If this is the case we are always happy to take your order over the phone on 01626 835285 (normal office opening hours only).

I’m looking for puzzle solutions. Where can I find them?

We aim to keep this regularly updated with new puzzles we have added to our range, however if you are looking for something which is not available online then you can contact us and we will try to help you if we can. Please note that we only monitor communications during normal office opening hours, and will always try to get back to you as quickly as possible.
